Frequently asked questions....

Planning an event of any size can be a daunting task and one that most folks don't take on very often.  Luckily for you, we do!

Here are some questions that we get asked quite often.  I hope they help in your planning!

 

How much does catering cost?

 

Probably the most common question and rightfully so. Because there are so many variables and every event is so very different, it is really hard to give an accurate figure without knowing all of the details.  I liken it to walking into a car dealership and asking how much for a car.  There are so many shapes, sizes, and options that it is nearly impossible to give a quick answer.  That being said, it is very helpful to have an idea of costs to get started and begin budget planning.  Most of our full-service events begin in the $65-$70 per person range.  This usually includes staff labor for the day, taxes and applicable fees.

 

Some of my family is gluten-free, but I don't want them to feel singled out?

 

We don't want anyone to feel singled out either. When dietary issues arise, we try very hard to create menus (without these ingredients) that are so amazing, no one will notice they are missing!

Because we make all of our menus in-house, custom just for you, we can accommodate any dietary wants and needs that you may have without fuss.  If you are looking for an organic feast or are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, we can gladly and tastefully take care of that for you.

 

There isn't a kitchen at my venue, how does that work?

 

That's ok!  We have lots of equipment of our own and if we don't have it, we can rent it!  Because we create each menu specifically for each event, we can create the menu to work with whatever equipment is available to us.  Here is the oversimplified version of how it all works.  When we arrive at a venue, or home most of the time we have nothing but the grass under our feet. We set up a kitchen with everything that we will need. We basically pack a kitchen!  We bring everything from spoons, any and all cookware to serving ware and everything in-between. We bring a kitchen's worth of stuff with us!  We create an amazing meal in this temporary space and when it's over, we break it all down and take it all back with us. When we leave, it is as though we were never there! No trace of us exists except the smiling faces and happy bellies.   It all happens with a very dedicated and VERY hardworking staff.

 

 

Do you provide chinaware and rentals?

 

We know what we do well, and that is amazing food and planning great parties!  There are so many great rental houses in the area with such an amazing and large array of rental options, that we leave the keeping of the inventory to them.  That being said, we are more than happy to assist you with any rental needs that you may have.  From planning to delivery, set-up and pick up, let us take care of that for you!

 

 

I'm a DIY type of person, can I do all of the planning and decorating myself?

 

Of course!  We are not here to take over or step on any toes.  The day is your day and we want to help in any way that we can without being intrusive.

 

I am not very crafty, I don't even know where to begin, my head is spinning with ideas!  I'm a Pinterest mess, help?!
